GK or Gawad Kalinga which means to give care is a global movement that comprehensively transforms slums and disaster-stricken areas in poor economies into viable, sustainable communities. GK started in the Philippines but has now found its way in other countries such as Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Africa and the ground-works have been laid out for East Timor and South America. GK does its work through volunteerism, community empowerment and partnership. GK777 is a program within GK that seeks to build 700,000 homes in 7,000 healthy communities within 7 years.

The ABN number is 61 099 188 244 as registered since July 2003. The company also received OAGDS approval as a developmental company and a tax deductible authority under the DGR program of ATO last 21 July 2006.
